Hello
I am posting a small request from one of the WSE forum members!

***********************************************************
Hello everyone!
Because of a great need I invented pillows for my granddaughter, Elissa who was very ill.
She found no comfort in the towels and wash cloths that were used for positioning her properly. There was nothing that could be purchased to help her with her different health issues. Elissa continually used her pillows that I made and they provided her with comfort and support.
Her therapists and nurses loved these pillows and so I decided with their encouragement to have her pillows available for anyone who needed or wanted them. I have testimonials from individuals and professional people who have used these pillows for themselves and patients and they are very pleased with them.
One speech - language pathologist said that these pillows are a strong asset during therapy. She stated that the pillows are extremely helpful in comfortably and effectively positioning a patient to enhance use of augmentative and alternative communication output devices such as switches.
The possible uses of these pillows are endless in both individual homes and the health care field. The pillows can be used to help ease pain, sore muscles, back pain, aid circulation, and assist in preventing pressure areas. The pillows can be used to help position a person in a wheel chair, arm chair, or bed. They can help with support after surgery, broken bones, and orthopedic conditions. They come in a variety of sizes and shapes and can be machine washed and dried. The styles and contours can be useful for individuals suffering from brief illnesses or as in the case of Elissa, a very special child with special needs. The pillows can be seen and some of the ways in which they can be used on the following website:

(home of the original keepsake feather pillow)
Click on - shop for pillows. Elissa’s are the medical pillows.

Elissa Farley is now in Heaven. She passed on just before her forth birthday. She will be so proud that her pillows are on this website - Thank you Womensselfesteem.com and Dorothy.

Thank you for sharing the link. I recently bought a memory foam mattress but don't feel I'm getting the most comfort out of it because of my pillows, so I will try these kind.

EDIT: Whoops - sorry, I didn't realise this was an old thread. I found it on Google when searching for new pillows!
