Body image warping and trickery is so obvious when you spend a few minutes looking at the real people as compared to the images being sold to you every where you look.

It is not real! The only real thing involved with whats going on within the marketing trickery is the dollars being made and the emotional battlefield you put yourself into.

One look at the video above called "Dove Body Image Advertising: Behind the beauty industry ", will show you just how they completely warped that woman's face. It doesn't even look at all like the real her!
Think about the bottom line. The bottom line is all about marketing and profiting at innocent victims expense.
The money makers do not care how many womens self-esteem or self-worth they have trampled on in order to see that profit margin soar!
The first thing you can do to stop all of this nonsense is STOP buying into all of this garbage such as the "Perfect Body Image"
Guess what....there is NO such thing!!!

What are your thoughts?

Hey Everyone,
This is absolutely correct. Do you know that the "average" size for women in Hollywood is a size 0. Yes I said 0!
I think it's time we started teaching our children (both boys & girls) to think of these women like cartoon characters than
"real women"!
There is nothing wrong with being thin if you are a thin person. There is nothing wrong with being a medium framed or larger person if you are larger. We should focus on the health, education, morals and quality of our lives and stress this to everyone in our lives. Who knows , maybe it will catch on!!!!
We only have one life....a bit sad to know how many of us (including myself) waste so much time & effort trying to be something that most people were never meant to be in the first place!

I was on a site that actually let you run your cursor over the photo to see what people looked like before the photo was re touched, it was amazing. No wonder women think they have to live up to these high standards, and they're false to boot. Men are also being decieved into thinking that women should be as they are portrayed in magazines, it's all so sad.

It is amazing to see how much they altered that women to look like a poster pin up. I had to look at it twice to be sure of what they did.

It is sad to see so many women that are not comfortable in their own skin. The media should be shown up for what they really are....fools...absolute fools.

I am going to get my daughter on this site to educate her on what is reality and what is fiction. Hopefully this will be an education that she she will remember.

Hi
I just wanted to say that I am so happy to finally see a place where we can comment on videos. i have seen so many videos and up until now, none that have put the intended message across like these ones do.
I also want to thank the people that have created this site and please keep doing a good job.

I need to tell you girls of an important lesson that I have learned from experience!!!
Your daughters know what you are doing to your body! No matter how you try to hide dieting, unhealthy eating habits or eating disorders. Every thing you say: "I am fat" "I look terrible" , "I wish...." ! They hear it, absorb it and it will eventually come back to haunt them and you.
Ladies please, let's change this!
Blessings,
Valerie
