Terry Diebold is driven to help people overcome their fear of recognizing their value. While this may sound strange, Terry believes it is fear of stepping into a fuller life than holds many people back.
A therapist, Terry was frustrated by her inability to help clients who came to her with self-esteem issues. She began research into why this was such a stubborn matter and the result was The Myth of Self-Esteem. Her book explains how self-esteem is misinterpreted and consequently causes people to be disappointed in themselves. She now believes that many problems, both personal and business, have their origin in lack of self trust.
Terry calls herself “a woman with a checkered past.” In the last 30 years, Terry has been a licensed stock broker, owner of three businesses, mediator, college instructor and radio show host. She is now a Presbyterian minister, Marriage and Family Therapist and author. She has built four successful businesses and with her almost 20 years as a Marriage and Family Therapist, has the experience to help individuals love themselves and love their lives. Terry’s humor, along with energetic workshops and upbeat presentations have made her a much-requested presenter who regularly helps people find the courage to changes their lives.
