~HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY~

Wow...It is already May and spring is most definitely in the air~
Time so does speed up as each day passes by. This has been my first winter back in Canada in seven years and to my surprise it has been a very mild and pleasant winter. Everyone has been telling me that I must have brought the sun back with me from Florida as it was a record warm season.
No matter what the weather is, what the politicians are doing, or even what the neighbor is up to, we still get up every day and are faced with dealing with our own little worlds. In those small worlds we deal family matters, such as problematic teens, relationship issues and even physical disabilities within our own bodies or within a family members body. Our life still goes on. How we deal with those days is what makes those days that much easier to get through.

This month is when we celebrate a very special day which is dedicated to Mom's all over the world.
It is not that we should not appreciate and show our love to our moms throughout the year, it is more that we all pause and make a special effort to say thanks to our mom's for being our doorway to life. Below I have written an ode to my mom. I hope you enjoy it~

MOM'S

Mom's are caring

Mom's are direction

Mom's are our mentors

Mom's laugh because they love

Mom's know without being told

Mom's hear without even listening

Mom's cry in the quiet of their hearts

Mom's sigh without loosing their smile

Mom's do not always say, but they certainly always see

Mom's very being is the opening to our doorway to life

Mom's feel us even when we do not feel ourselves

Mom's even at their worse are still our mom's

Mom's are the true meaning of unconditional

Mom's are angels without wings

Mom's are why Dad's exist

Mom's are daughters too

Mom's are always there

Mom's just are

Mom's die and for this reason we, the children should never take our Mom's for granted...not even one time~
