Weight Questions for Women

This is the Weight Questions for Women section. I ask the weight based questions and you provide the answers! The answers that you provide are not for anyone else to read. (We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission.) By answering these questions, you will be thinking about how you feel about specific subjects relating to your feelings and how you normally handle specific weight issues in your life. Answering these questions will make you think about how well you deal with your weight issues and also how you could better deal with those issues at that same time. Your own words WILL help you more than you can imagine!

You may find as you're answering the questions that you are responding to the questions in terms of how you would, ideally, like to be. Please resist that temptation and answer, instead, from a place of complete self-honesty. You may not like some of these questions, but answer them anyways. Sometimes how you see yourself is not so pretty, until you completely know yourself. Answer as truthfully as possible and try to write a detailed answer.

Are you happy with your present weight?
Do you diet just to be able to say that you are dieting along with everyone else? If so, does it make you happy?
Have you ever noticed another woman that you consider an ideal weight and wish that you could look like her? If so, what have you done about it?
Have you ever felt that your weight was an embarrassment to your partner or another family member? If so, give an example.
Have you ever worried about health issues in regards to your present weight?
At what point in your life did weight become an issue for you? Examples: pregnancy, alcohol, high school, etc. Why do you think it happened at that point?
Do you feel that your weight issues effect your positive self-esteem?
Have you ever joined a fitness gym? If so, how did you feel while you were there? If you did NOT go, why?
If you are alone and your favorite snack food is setting in front of you, are you happy with just one bite or do you have to eat the whole plate full?
Have you ever NOT been able to participate, due to your weight? How did that make you feel?
Have you ever over-heard other people mock you because of your weight? How did that make you feel?
Have you ever felt inhibited during sex due to your weight issues? How did that make you feel?
Self-esteem is the level that you respect and value yourself as a loveable, worthwhile human being. Do you think that this has anything to do with how much a person weighs?
Write at least 5 positive things about yourself that have nothing to do with weight issues.
